Our agent is Katie Kowalski. In January 2023, in preparation of a month long March 2023 trip to the Wilmington area, we began communicating with Katie on a weekly basis. Utilizing email, text and phone calls, we provided our property search criteria. During our first in person meeting at the office, Katie demonstrated her experience and knowledge of the communities/markets from Wilmington/Leland to Calabash. Properties that matched our focus do not stay on the market very long, so staying on top of it was essential. Although in pending status when we arrived, Katie had previously tagged a property in Calabash that matched our hit list. It came back on the market a week after we arrived and Katie scheduled a viewing the very next day. The property turned out to be a solid 9 out of 10. Two days later we were signing a contract. However, the best was yet to come. Our plan was to return to Western New York on Mar. 31st. The house was not occupied due to its previous pending status and we wanted to close if possible by that date. Not only did Katie and the Jennifer Bullock Team manage the entire process, we closed on Mar. 24th, giving us a full week to setup our new 2nd home. This would not have been possible without Katie’s dedication, professional contacts and overall wiliness to get things done – all the while being extremely pleasant to work with. ! -We first connected up with Katie in November 2022 when we targeted the Wilmington, NC area for our search. We had just spend October researching in the Lake Norman, NC area and Katie was recommended to us by our agent there Stefania Arrieta. -Planning a five week trip in March 2023, Katie really listened to what we were looking for. When we finally met her in person we knew right then, if there was a house that matched our top 10 must haves on our hit list. Katie would find it. -We toured several properties and fine tuned our expectations. At 9:30PM on a Wednesday night, Katie called, said a property that she thought might be the one, came back on the market. Katie's knowledge of the entire area and her understanding our perspective, she had already booked a showing the next morning, gave us the listing info, and we where all in to meet her there. -Understanding there is no perfect 10, this one was a 9 out of 10. There was only one more check mark. It was in a gated golf community and we hadn't played the course. -Booked a tee time for the next day. Played the round, called Katie and made an offer on a Saturday. On Sunday the offer was accepted and the next issue was trying to get a closing before we were returning back to Western New York. -Targeting 3/31 (19 days) not only did Katie work that out, we actually closed on 3/24 in just 12 days. Coordinating absentee owners, out of state lawyers and a home inspection, pest inspection and most everything involved if the process was pretty much stress free for us. -Katie's experience, knowledge, support from her office and the connections with all the required vendors/services to get a closing done was remarkable. -When we returned to Western New York; friends, family and business associates all wanted to hear about our house.
